Eric Ramos (DJ Ramos, Queens NY) has been around the dance music scene since the early ’80. Initially inspired by music of the legendary Jellybean Benitez, DJ Ramos frequented the nightclubs such as the Funhouse, Roxy, Paradise Garage and introduced Classics, Funk, Electro, and later Freestyle sound and recreated this sound as a mobile DJ. Ramos later on went into the recording industry and worked alongside such greats as Patrick Adams, Todd Terry, Ivan “Doc” Rodriguez, and KRS-One and Norty Cotto at Power Play Studios in Queens. The late ‘80’s also made way for the opportunity for Ramos to tour with the pioneering freestyle band, TKA. In the early nineties DJ Ramos teamed up with Noel Chase (Request Models) and had a traveling underground party where he played house music in venues such as the old Construction Zone, Club Kulu and the infamous China Club. Today, DJ Ramos is sharing his passion for music one the web and it is here that you will hear the latest in today’s underground, soulful and deep house music.
